What is kept

The email and handle you give, your birth date, your chats, what each member notes about your projects, and a record of any dues paid. No payment card is requested at any point.

Why it is kept

So the bench works, a member can remember you, the site stays safe and dues can be confirmed. Messages are screened against the member rules, and nothing you say is sold or shown to advertisers.

What you control

You can read and edit your project entries, clear a chat, export it, or have the account erased on request to the bench address. Chats and entries remain only while the account does.

Cookies

One session cookie holds your badge between pages, and a few display settings sit in your browser. Nothing follows you out of the space, and no advertising code is loaded here.
